Leonardo DiCaprio, a famous actor, most notably from the movie Titanic, was seen about town wearing an FAU hat. When questioned on why he is wearing an FAU hat during an interview Leo did with GQ magazine he said, "I have no idea. But I love baseball caps! This is the real reason I wear ’em: I just like the design and the pattern. People come up to me and say, “You went to FAU!” Wait—this is Florida Atlantic University."
Well no mater if he knows who we are or not, he is till sporting the 'OWL' which makes him an okay guy for us. With Leo wearing this hat and being photographed in it, it gives FAU a more worldly recognition. We Owl's are so often over looked by the more popular universities.
So we must thank the hat company for making such comfortable hats, because without them Leonardo DiCaprio would have never worn it.
